Big Event of the YEAR!

BYE, BYE BINKI...

The time has come and gone...Mackelle's binki, paci or as she calls it 'bebe' is GONE! Yep that's right, on Wednesday, which was May 23rd, a busy day for us!! Activity Days, dinner and soccer tournament. Mackelle decided to take off her poopy diaper, when the poop rolled out of the diaper, she danced in it, played in it and then smashed her 'bebe' in it. Well...that's all folks! Binki's that have poop on them have to go in the garbage. We can't believe how easy it has been! When she asks for it, we say, "Remember you poop on it!" OH WELL!

Meridian Swim Park

Today was the day! We did it, along with 50 million other people. Brinlee recieved a free pass to Roaring Springs for a reading accomplishment. We stayed until close (8 p.m.) and the girls had a blast riding 'BIG' slides with dad. Emery and Mackelle enjoyed the kiddie area. Super nice life guard held Emery's hand the whole way down the slide because she was nervous. I was waiting at the end....

Megan did not like being in the boy body!

The waterpark can be seen from the freeway. Our favorite rides were Thunder Falls, Kiddie Kowabunga, Enless River and Double Trouble Drop Slides!

One Year in Meridian - WOW!!

In May of 2010 we sold our house of 9 years leaving behind dear friends and family. Don Patton became a new name in our home. Joey hears the girls say, "MOM! Don's here!" Joey - "Who's Don?" Me - "The realtor, remember we're trying to sell the house."

Joey moved to Eagle, ID to live with now great friends (Jared and Lisa Young) from February to June. Life was crazy in Utah for awhile. New baby and and having showings was not fun. Brinlee asked if Joey and I were DIVORCED!

Grandma J made the trek up to our new home, I even pulled a U-haul trailer behind us. I couldn't have put my kitchen together without her!

One year, two soccer seasons, 2nd grade and preschool complete later, we still miss our friends and fam, but couldn't be happier with our new family in Meridian. Brinlee was never worried about us having a social life. "Dad we've got a pool we're gonna have friends!"

Day 2 of 3 - Wicked Weekend

Months ago we planned a girls weekend to go see Wicked. My mom, Jeanette, my two sisters Michelle and Janelle and my sister-in-law (I don't like saying inlaw;she is my sister) Sharee. I can't believe the weekend came and went already. They drove up Thursday and all of us girls went to see 'Soul Surfer' that night. It freaked Megan out, Brinlee loved it and Emery wanted to see more of the shark. I think we all shed a tear. That's how it all started, here's the rest.

Spring at Boise Idaho Temple

Who said "Wicked"ness never was happiness?

Cheesecake Factory at Boise Towne Center after the temple, also brings happiness.

Our last stop on Friday was at Heroes Park to watch Brinlee and the Purple Panthers.
